Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Take the next step in your healthcare career as a Radiation Therapist on a contract assignment in a state-licensed facility. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with proven expertise in radiation therapy and familiarity with cutting-edge equipment and systems.
Schedule:
Day shift, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No call requirements No weekends
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) as a Radiation Therapist Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Credentials:
R.T. (R)(ARRT) Solid experience operating Varian Trilogy linear accelerators Proficiency using ARIA and Epic electronic medical record (EMR) systems Comfortable following facility guidelines, including professional attire (grey scrubs) Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Provide safe and effective radiation therapy for oncology patients according to established protocols Operate Varian Trilogy linear accelerators for treatment delivery Accurately document treatments and patient information using ARIA and Epic EMRs Collaborate closely with other full-time radiation therapists to maintain a supportive and efficient care environment Monitor patient well-being throughout treatment, addressing concerns promptly Uphold all regulatory, safety, and quality standards required by state and national agencies This assignment offers the chance to apply and expand your specialized knowledge alongside an experienced team during regular day shift hours.
