Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract A highly skilled Radiation Therapist is needed for a contract role with a 13-week assignment. This opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a professional healthcare setting.
Schedule:
5x8 hour day shifts Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT(T)) Valid Kansas state license Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience with radiation therapy equipment and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate patient care
Role Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation therapy treatments according to physician's orders Accurately position patients and operate equipment to ensure correct dosage, targeting treatment areas Monitor patient reactions during procedures and document results Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and nursing staff as part of an integrated cancer care team Provide education and support to patients, addressing questions and concerns Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
