Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional for a 13-week assignment specializing in Radiation Therapy. Schedule:
5x8 hour shifts: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Qualifications:
Current and valid KS state license for Radiation Therapy Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy [ARRT(T)] Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience as a Radiation Therapist, with a strong grasp of treatment planning, patient safety, and radiation safety protocols Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy to patients as directed by physicians Prepare, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment while adhering to safety standards Monitor patients throughout radiation procedures and provide support, ensuring comfort and well-being Maintain thorough records of treatment sessions and patient progress Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology team members for optimal patient outcomes Consistently uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
