This dynamic opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, working closely with patients and a high-performing oncology team to deliver precise and compassionate radiation treatments.

Schedule:

5 x 8-hour shifts Days, Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Preferred Background & Licensing:

Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ARRT(T) credential required Valid Radiation Therapy license in KS Thorough understanding of modern radiation therapy techniques, patient safety protocols, and treatment planning Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist highly preferred Strong communication skills and professionalism in patient interaction

Key Responsibilities:

Administer accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by oncology physicians Operate linear accelerators and maintain quality assurance standards for equipment Ensure patient well-being, provide clear instructions before, during, and after treatments Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to create patient-specific care plans Maintain accurate treatment records and adherence to regulatory requirements Educate patients and families on procedures, possible side effects, and aftercare
