1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a KY state license for a 14-week day shift contract at a hospital-based radiation therapy unit. Details Hospital-based Radiation Therapy unit Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) 36 or 40 hours/week contract options available 14-week contract Requirements Active KY Radiation Therapist (T) state license required prior to start; candidates with a pending KY license will be considered ARRT (T) certification required if applicable Candidates must have a clean licensure history — no licensure hits will be accepted 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Accurately and efficiently treat patients according to physician prescriptions, ensuring correct and safe patient treatment throughout the process Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of daily patient treatments Performs daily QA and warm-up on treatment machines Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
