1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 1+ year of experience and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department in Massachusetts. Details Hospital-based Radiation Oncology (Rad Therapy) department 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM 13-week contract Uses ARIA, Epic, ExacTrac, and Eclipse systems Epic used for charting Requirements Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy required; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience cannot be substituted in lieu of a degree Minimum 1 year of continuous clinical experience in radiation therapy Active MA Radiation Therapist state license required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted — license required if applicable BLS certification required (AHA only; no other issuers accepted) ARRT-T certification preferred Proficiency with Radiation Oncology Information Systems including ARIA, Epic, ExacTrac, and Eclipse Ability to troubleshoot equipment and procedural issues specific to the assigned area 2 professional references required for consideration Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted Additional Information Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, management, peers, patients, and their families Handle sensitive and confidential patient information with discretion Apply strong customer service skills and independent judgment when resolving issues or conflicts Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public transportation is available and public parking lots charge approximately $17-$22 per day RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
