Radiation Therapist Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, utilizing advanced technology to deliver accurate and effective radiation treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed dosage and treatment plan Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and patient progress Monitor patient reactions to radiation therapy and report any adverse effects to the radiation oncologist Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding radiation therapy procedures and side effects Ensure safety measures are followed during radiation therapy sessions to minimize risks to patients and staff Maintain and operate radiation therapy equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines

Qualifications and Skills:
