Job Description

This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Radiation Therapist skilled in the use of advanced technologies and committed to making a meaningful difference in patients' radiation treatment journeys.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency in operating True Beam, Varian, and Cyber Knife equipment ARRT (T) certification and current state licensure in Radiation Therapy (or eligibility) Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to support patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Proven capability in managing an average daily volume of 25-32 cases Ability to ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are meticulously followed
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately administer radiation therapy treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each session Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to execute optimized care plans Prepare patients for their procedures, explaining each step and addressing any questions or concerns Operate and maintain True Beam, Varian, and Cyber Knife equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed Document procedures and maintain precise, up-to-date treatment records Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times in alignment with facility policies This role is ideal for disciplined, tech-savvy professionals dedicated to high-quality patient care using some of the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
