Radiation Therapist

JOB SUMMARY
Provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. Responsibilities include patient setup, treatment delivery, and monitoring patient care, ensuring adnce to safety protocols and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient simulations and acquire images for treatment planning
Accurately position patients for treatment delivery according to established protocols
Operate and maintain all radiation therapy equipment
Deliver radiation treatments with precision and attention to detail
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or changes in their condition during treatment
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
Participate in quality assurance activities.

5x8 Days, M-F
07:30 to 16:00
40 Hours per Week
Holidays:
Required as they fall, as scheduled
Required Qualifications
ARRT-R Certification
ARRT-T Certification
BLS Certification
Experience
1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy required.
Candidates with strong experience and skillset in outpatient/freestanding/ambulatory settings will be considered.
First-time travelers with strong experience/skillset in outpatient/freestanding/ambulatory setting will be accepted.
Skills
Proficient in external beam radiation therapy modalities including
IMRT, 3D, SRS.
Experience with Brachytherapy, HDR, and LDRT procedures.
Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety principles.
Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EMR / Systems
Aria experience is preferred but orientation and training will be provided.
