Locums About the Facility This large hospital system operates a dedicated cancer center providing comprehensive radiation oncology services in an outpatient setting. The facility is equipped with a TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and a Siemens CT/PET onsite to support advanced cancer treatment delivery. The center utilizes Aria and
EPIC EMR
systems to support treatment planning and patient care coordination. About the Facility Location Fergus Falls, Minnesota offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities for clinicians on assignment. Visitors may enjoy hiking and biking along the Central Lakes Trail and North Country Trail, fishing and boating on the Ottertail River State Water Trail, and swimming at Pebble Lake Beach. Local attractions include the Otter Tail County Museum, the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center, and family-friendly options within approximately 45 miles of the area. About the Clinician's Workday The radiation oncologist will provide outpatient oncology services Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with no call or weekend requirements. Daily responsibilities include onsite oversight of radiation therapy treatments, managing 10-20 patients per day for radiation therapy, and seeing up to 15 patients on Tuesday OTV days, with 1-2 consults during the week as needed for urgent cases. The clinician will deliver 3D, IMRT, and IGRT treatments and perform CT Sims utilizing a TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and a Siemens CT/PET onsite. All patient documentation will be completed through EPIC EMR and the Aria treatment planning system. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD:
1-2 consults per week; up to 15 patients on Tuesday OTV days; 10-20 patients for radiation therapy per day
