1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist (RTT) with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(T) certification for a day-shift travel contract at a hospital-based Oncology department in Joplin, MO. Details Hospital-based Radiation Oncology/Oncology department setting Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8s) Approximately 25-35 patients treated daily Delivers daily radiation treatments including 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT Uses an Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator with Mosaiq R&V Uses Epic EMR No float, call, or weekend requirements Rotating holiday coverage required Requirements Active ARRT(T) certification required Current BLS required Minimum 2-3 years of radiation therapy experience required Experience with Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V required Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills required ARRT(R) VI preferred CT simulation experience preferred but not required Valid U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration License required if applicable No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months Additional Information Deliver daily radiation treatments using advanced modalities including IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT on an Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator This position supports the department during a high-demand period and provides coverage during summer team PTO CT simulation is handled by another team member; experience is a nice-to-have but not a focus of this role The facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center, Level 2 Stroke Center, and Level 2 STEMI Center Black scrubs required Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but should be aware of local contract restrictions limiting consecutive 13-week assignments at the same facility
