Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off Up to $3,000 Relocation Bonus Up to $0.50 Certification Pay Career Ladder up to $5,000 Job Summary A care giver with responsibility/accountability for providing correctly delivered ionizing radiation therapy treatment to patients, accurately following Radiation Oncologist's prescription, providing support and care for the patient by use of competent technical skills, problem solving and in cooperation with other health care team members.
Education:
Required:
Graduate of an ARRT approved School of Radiation Therapy.
Preferred:
Completed 24 month course in Radiologic Technology or a
Bachelor's Degree Experience:
Preferred:
3 years as a radiation therapist.
Skills:
Ability to operate treatment accelerators (i.e. SRS, SBRT, IGRT and CT SIM) Knowledge of radiation dosimetry Knowledge of simulation procedures Knowledge of brachytherapy procedures Able to accurately interpret physician prescription, correctly delivering ionizing radiation per prescription
