Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract This opportunity is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to support a well-equipped radiation oncology department. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment with advanced technology and a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include operating four key treatment machines: 2 Linear Accelerators (Elekta Versa HD), 1 CT Simulator (GE Lightspeed), and 1 CyberKnife (Accuray M6). You will work closely with a team of 9 radiation therapists to provide precise treatment planning and delivery while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate documentation within the Mosaiq electronic medical record system.
Schedule and Hours:
Day Shift only; 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM Night shifts are rare but may occasionally extend past 6:00 PM depending on patient volume 36 hours guaranteed; typically scheduled for 40 hours per week
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficient with Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerators, GE Lightspeed CT Simulator, and Accuray M6 CyberKnife systems preferred Comfortable working within Mosaiq EMR Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
