1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Varian TrueBeam proficiency for a 13-week contract at an outpatient cancer clinic in the greater Charlotte area. Details Outpatient cancer clinic setting in the Radiation Therapy department Treats 60-100 patients per day across 3 linear accelerator machines Patient population consists of outpatient ambulatory cancer patients requiring radiation therapy 12-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 36 hours per week worked, 40 hours paid Weekend rotations are possible but unlikely Department is closed on major holidays May be required to float to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area with manager approval

Uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators EMR:

Epic/Aria Requirements Active Radiation Therapist license required if applicable Current BLS certification required ARRT-T (Radiotherapy Technologist) certification required Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators required Experience across a variety of cancer diagnoses required Epic EMR experience required Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Department orientation includes facility-wide new employee orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation Approximately 12 therapists work per shift with leadership support available Department culture is described as highly diverse and collegial Free parking is available on site Black scrubs are required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
