Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Discover the charm of North Carolina while enriching your professional journey as a radiation therapy specialist in Salisbury. This opportunity provides you with valuable exposure to varied clinical practices, advanced radiation oncology techniques, and dynamic leadership—all while exploring a vibrant community with plenty of cultural and outdoor experiences on your days off. This facility features two cutting-edge linear accelerators and sophisticated treatment modalities, including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D therapy. As a traveler, you'll collaborate with a supportive team, including an on-site Chief Radiation Therapist, in a department that welcomes innovation and learning. Adding this assignment to your experience will expand your resume and introduce you to advanced technologies, such as Varian TrueBeam linacs and leading EMR systems like EPIC and Aria.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm No weekends or call 75% holiday coverage required
Qualifications:
ARRT (T) certification BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience Open to first-time travelers Experience in ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy required Ability to work with a diverse patient population with all cancer diagnoses
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, safe, and accurate radiation therapy treatments Utilize advanced clinical platforms (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments) Coordinate patient care and maintain thorough documentation in EPIC/Aria Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team Support RT students rotating through the department Adhere to safety protocols and departmental standards
