Qualifications/Experience:
Current certification and license as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency in accurate delivery of planned courses of radiation therapy Experience with
IGRT, SBRT
treatments, CT simulation, and portal imaging Familiarity with department protocols, QA procedures (linac/CT), and MOSAIQ or similar record systems Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver radiation therapy treatments accurately and independently, maintaining patient communication during therapy Perform daily and monthly QA for linac and CT equipment Accurately perform IGRT, SBRT, and portal imaging CT/Simulate patients following location-specific protocols; construct immobilization devices and utilize IV contrast when needed Perform and train others in respiratory gating, ACQ simulation, and SBRT procedures Lead CT Therapist responsibilities including staff training, QA oversight, and ensuring necessary documentation is complete Maintain and update patient treatment and scheduling records in MOSAIQ, verifying all planning parameters Attend chart rounds and support coordination of patient transport and checklist management Adhere to all safety standards, ALARA principles, and emergency protocols; promptly report equipment malfunctions
