Key Responsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy, operate treatment units, and maintain clear communication with patients during procedures. Conduct daily and monthly QA on linac and CT equipment, and perform
IGRT, SBRT
treatments, and portal imaging. Execute CT simulations per protocol, construct immobilization devices, use IV contrast and handle advanced simulation equipment. Oversee special procedural billing and ensure complete documentation within MOSAIQ. Function as Lead CT Therapist by training colleagues on simulations, QA, mould room duties, and SBRT practices. Maintain and verify all documentation for daily treatment management, coordinate chart rounds, and facilitate patient workflow with McKesson. Uphold departmental safety, dress code, ALARA radiation safety standards, and emergency procedures for all equipment. Operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery, and accurately maintain treatment records and documentation of plan changes.
Desired Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. Demonstrated experience with linac, CT, SBRT, IGRT, and MOSAIQ. Proficiency in QA protocols and radiation safety procedures. Strong communication, organization, and training skills. Capacity to train peers and monitor compliance with department protocols.
