Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment, day shifts expected
Key Qualifications:
Certified and licensed in Radiation Therapy Experience or capability in CT/Simulation for radiation therapy using site-specific protocols Competency in IGRT and SBRT treatment and portal imaging Familiarity with MOSAIQ or similar radiation oncology management systems Strong command of radiation safety principles (ALARA) and emergency protocols Professional demeanor, adherence to department policies, and ability to educate and lead colleagues as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver planned courses of radiation therapy utilizing various treatment units with minimal supervision, while maintaining patient communication Conduct daily and monthly linac and CT QA, and accurately perform specialized treatments Independently perform and lead CT/simulation procedures, construct immobilization devices, and manage SBRT protocols Train and mentor other Radiation Therapists in specialized procedures Verify daily treatment parameters, manage patient records, and attend weekly chart rounds Uphold safety, utilize proper body mechanics, and maintain meticulous records of all treatments
