Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT RT(T) certification required) Valid, unencumbered license to practice in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain) Demonstrated competency with linear accelerators and current radiation oncology protocols Previous experience in radiation therapy, with familiarity in both outpatient and inpatient settings Strong communication and patient-focused care skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
Administer targeted radiation treatments following physician directives and established safety standards Accurately calibrate, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, and other allied health staff Document treatment plans and maintain meticulous records in compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Why Take This Travel Assignment?
