Desired Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in New York) Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a cancer care or hospital setting Proficient in operating linear accelerators and associated treatment planning systems Excellent communication and patient care skills Adaptable, dependable, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions Deliver quality patient care before, during, and after treatments Document and update patient records, ensuring compliance with policies and safety regulations Monitor equipment functionality, reporting issues as needed Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families regarding procedures and support resources
