Radiation Therapist:
Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to radiation oncologist prescriptions Operate linear accelerators and related radiation equipment safely Position patients accurately for treatment delivery Ensure precise dose administration and treatment accuracy Monitor patient condition throughout treatment sessions Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and multidisciplinary care teams
Requirements:
BLS certification Ohio Radiation Therapy License ARRT certification Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience
