1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist for an outpatient oncology department in Columbus, OH, with full competency on Varian TrueBeam linacs and Aria required for a 13-week contract. Details Outpatient radiation oncology setting Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends or on-call requirements Operating hours are 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM with 8.5-hour shifts (including a 30-minute lunch break) 10-hour shifts offered during holiday weeks to accommodate a full 40-hour week Uses Varian TrueBeam linacs and Aria v15 for treatment delivery and charting 13-week contract, including 1 week of onboarding Requirements Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required if applicable ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required Active ACLS and BLS certifications required Full competency on Varian TrueBeam linacs and Aria v15 required 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — no coworker references accepted Additional Information Onboarding week is scheduled 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM prior to transitioning to standard operating hours Vision RT experience is preferred but not required Scrubs required: black pants with any top Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc, ranging from budget surface lot access with shuttle service to 24/7 garage access All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon signing their contract — candidates outside Ohio must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet as soon as possible upon receipt Local candidates are accepted Former employees of this facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or fewer
