Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required Previous clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist Current BLS certification Strong communication and patient advocacy skills Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team

Responsibilities:

Accurately administer prescribed radiation treatments to oncology patients Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists for safe delivery of therapy Educate and support patients and families throughout the treatment process Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records per department protocols Monitor patient comfort, address side effects, and escalate issues as needed Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and infection control standards Participate in ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives
