Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT preferred) Demonstrated experience in administering radiation therapy treatments Proficiency operating radiation oncology equipment and adhering to safety protocols Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and team members Ability to follow prescribed treatment plans and respond to evolving patient needs Compassionate, patient-centered mindset with commitment to delivering high-quality care
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety at every stage Accurately document and update patient treatment records in compliance with regulatory standards Work collaboratively with oncologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated care Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and potential side effects Perform quality assurance checks on radiation equipment and promptly report any concerns Uphold infection control and patient privacy protocols at all times
