Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT required) Active, unrestricted state license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards, treatment planning, and patient care procedures Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate approach with patients and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort Verify patient identification and treatment plans before each session Operate and maintain complex radiation therapy equipment proficiently Monitor patient reactions and report any adverse effects to the clinical team Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff Maintain meticulous treatment records and documentation
