Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated skills and experience in Radiation Therapy Ability to operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to comfort patients and collaborate with oncology teams Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to all medical protocols BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Administer accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists Explain procedures to patients and address their questions or concerns with empathy Maintain precise records of procedures, doses, and patient responses Collaborate with radiation oncologists, nurses, physicists, and other team members Ensure daily safety checks and maintenance of therapy equipment Monitor patients closely for any reactions or side effects, reporting any issues promptly Foster a calm, reassuring environment to support each patient throughout their treatment journey
