Shift Details:
Monday to Friday. 8-hour shifts. They start as early as 6a and are open till 5-6p. Asking for candidates that can work within those times and have agencies enter shift preference on sub form.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years with experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus. Training-will be paired with experienced Rad Tech and training on 1 machine A valid and current license issued by the state of PA A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. Cert - Radiation Therpay certification and ARRT required
Job Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment Monitor patients during treatment sessions Explain procedures and answer patient questions Ensure accurate treatment delivery and patient safety Maintain and check radiation therapy machines Record treatment details and update patient records Observe patients for side effects and report concerns Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines If interested, please apply through this job post.
