An opportunity is available now! Soliant is now staffing full time Radiation Therapist applicants for a hospital/cancer center in the city of Columbia, South Carolina. This position is a day shift, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week. Interviews are being scheduled daily for this new vacancy! Shift/Qualification Requirements Shift:
Day Shift, 40 hours/wk. No weekends or holidays.
Required Certificates:
ARRT, BLS
required (AHA). Active SC State License. 1+ Years of experience required. MUST have experience using Varian, Mosaiq, and Elekta equipment's. New graduates are welcome ! Specialty Overview As a radiation therapist, candidates work under an oncologist as part of a medical team to prepare patients and administer radiation treatments for cancer and some other conditions. They take precise measurements of patients for treatment and may fit them with specialized equipment to be used during sessions. During treatment, they will monitor the patient's responses, including side effects, and may adjust the schedule or doses of radiation accordingly.
