Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Active state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist (or eligibility) Recent, relevant experience in radiation oncology settings Knowledge of advanced radiation equipment and safety protocols Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer accurate radiation treatments according to physician directives Operate and calibrate linear accelerators and related equipment Monitor and evaluate patient responses, providing support and reassurance Maintain comprehensive and confidential records of therapy sessions Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and nurses for coordinated patient care Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance
