Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Active, unrestricted relevant state licensure Minimum recent clinical experience in Radiation Therapy Competency with radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Flexibility to quickly adapt to new clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician instructions and safety guidelines Set up and operate treatment machines and devices, ensuring accurate patient positioning and comfort Maintain detailed patient records and assist in treatment planning adjustments as needed Work collaboratively with dosimetrists, oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality assurance procedures Educate patients and families about treatment processes and expected outcomes
