1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with an active Virginia state license and 2+ years of Varian system experience for a 13-week contract at a cancer institute outpatient clinic in Falls Church, VA. Details Outpatient cancer institute setting specializing in radiation oncology 7 treatment rooms available within the department Ratio of 2 RTTs per patient Uses Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and IBA Proton treatment systems Uses Aria and Epic for electronic medical records 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, scheduled between 7:00 AM-8:30 PM Weekend shifts are rare but may be required if the proton machine is down during the week No on-call requirements Requirements Active Virginia (VA) state Radiation Therapist license required for consideration RT(T) and AHA BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience with Varian treatment systems (TrueBeam and Trilogy) and IBA Proton Experience with Aria EMR required Additional Information Orientation includes Inova general orientation, a half-day Epic training, and department orientation with the chief or lead therapist Holiday weeks include treatment as scheduled Gray scrubs required
