Radiation Therapist

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (5x8's)

Key Qualifications:

Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license required at time of application Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency working with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems highly preferred Strong interpersonal and patient-focused communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and technical personnel Flexibility to start as soon as possible

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer daily radiation treatments following physicians' prescribed protocols Operate and monitor Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment to ensure safety and accuracy Maintain thorough records of all treatments and patient progress Educate and support patients through procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort Communicate with physicians, dosimetrists, and physicists regarding patient care plans Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control protocols within the department
