Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required) State licensure as required Strong knowledge of radiation oncology treatment techniques and safety protocols Prior clinical experience in a radiation therapy setting preferred Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Proficiency with treatment planning and radiology equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Administer accurate and safe radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment and machinery Educate patients on procedures, answer questions, and ensure comfort throughout treatments Monitor patients for side effects and collaborate with the care team on treatment adjustments Maintain diligent records, documentation, and adherence to all safety standards Participate actively in quality assurance initiatives and staff meetings
