1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Varian equipment proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment in a Radiation Oncology department in Richmond, VA. Details Outpatient-focused Radiation Oncology department, with minimal inpatient cases transported via ambulance service Treats 35-40 patients per day using standard treatment as well as SRS and SBRT CT simulations performed at a rate of 3-4 per day Equipment includes Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and
OSMS EMR

Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM 13-week contract Requirements Active ARRT license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy, with active experience within the last 6 months Hands-on experience with Varian equipment required Proficiency in 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri) Additional Information Experience with
ARIA 15.5 EMR
is preferred Candidates must be willing to work across different machine types as needed Scrubs required; no color restriction Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
