Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT RT(T) credential required) Active, unencumbered state licensure or eligibility for licensure Prior experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting Familiarity with current radiation oncology technologies and best practices Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities:
Accurately administer prescribed doses of radiation therapy to patients Collaborate with oncologists and medical staff to deliver optimal patient care Operate advanced oncology equipment following stringent safety guidelines Monitor patients for reactions and document treatment outcomes Complete required documentation and maintain accurate patient records Educate, reassure, and support patients throughout the treatment process
