Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role utilizing your expertise in radiation therapy to deliver exceptional patient care within a supportive clinical environment. This position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (5x8s), ensuring work-life balance and consistency.
Key Qualifications:
Possess an active Virginia Radiation Therapist license (required) Expertise in operating Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment Minimum of two years' experience in radiation therapy Proficiency in coordinating and performing complex treatment plans safely and accurately Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ready to start as soon as possible
Primary Duties:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a physician Carefully document all treatments and maintain precise records in compliance with clinical standards Perform equipment calibrations, safety checks, and basic troubleshooting for Varian systems Support patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment process, answering questions and providing clear explanations Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality care improvements
