Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role delivering high-quality patient care as a Radiation Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced technology and a supportive clinical team. The position requires expertise in radiation therapy using Varian Truebeam/Aria systems and is ideal for candidates ready to start as soon as possible.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Current and valid Virginia state license required at time of application Proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems Strong commitment to patient safety and compassionate care Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and safety protocols Accurately interpret and implement treatment plans using Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment Monitor patient responses and document treatment records in detail Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families throughout the treatment process Uphold strict compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
