Radiation Therapist - Full Time - Skagit Valley Hospital

Essential Functions Deliver Radiation treatment through operation of the linear accelerator and associated imaging systems. Perform daily patient and room set up in accordance with each treatment plan. Perform accurate and timely documentation in the EMR. Ensure appropriate charge entry for provided service. Perform EPID review. Maintain ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook) and department specific software applications to perform work. Communicate effectively and cooperatively in the workplace. Actively contribute to the achievement of Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement activities. Complete all mandatory learning requirements in a timely manner. Maintain current licensure and/or certification as required. Attend and actively participate in all department, team and/or committee meetings. Comply with all Skagit Regional Health, department and location specific policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee. Education Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited Radiation Therapist program. Experience/Training Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred. License/Certifications Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist registration required within 90 days of hire. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiation Therapy Registered or Registry (RT(T)) eligible. Completion of certification required within three (3) months of date of hire. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS.
