1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a WA State license and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital Radiation Oncology department utilizing advanced therapy modalities and Varian equipment. Details Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department Patient population includes adults and pediatrics, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases (approximately 95% outpatient) Training provided for pediatric patients 2 therapists per patient ratio Advanced therapy modalities include SBRT, DIBH, IMRT, and IGRT Equipment includes 2
LINACs:
Clinac iX and TrueBeam EMR system is Epic/Aria Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day shift, 8-hour shifts) No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required No floating required Requirements Active WA State Radiation Therapist license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS and ARRT certifications required Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience Experience with Varian and TrueBeam equipment required Ability to accurately interpret treatment plans and monitor patients during therapy HDR and Hyperarc experience preferred but not required At least one supervisor-level reference (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above) required for consideration; a second reference required prior to start Additional Information Deliver radiation therapy treatments using advanced modalities in a collaborative two-therapist team setting Department support includes receptionist/HUC staff Scrubs in any color or business casual attire with a lab coat are acceptable Free parking available close to the facility Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved as part of the program First-time travelers will be considered for this position
