1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (R) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a hospital-based cancer care radiation oncology department treating a broad oncology patient population. Details Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department specializing in cancer care Patient population includes prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, skin, and bone metastases diagnoses TrueBeam machine treats approximately 27 patients with at least 3-4 therapists assigned; Tomotherapy unit treats approximately 20 patients with 2 therapists assigned Advanced treatment modalities include IMRT, VMAT, 3D, SBRT, SRS, and Tomotherapy Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (5x8 hours) No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements 12-week contract Requirements ARRT (R) certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist License required if applicable 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Deliver radiation therapy treatments using advanced modalities including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and Tomotherapy Purple scrub top with purple or black bottoms required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
