Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. This full-time travel opportunity as an MRI Tech (Outpatient) will position you at the forefront of advanced imaging technology, while allowing you to expand your resume with valuable experiences in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Dedicating your skills to the Fairbanks community means making a meaningful impact every day, and the flexibility of a travel assignment lets you explore Alaska in your free time—from hiking and dog sledding, to enjoying bustling local markets.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week Weekend shifts as needed (may include every weekend) On-call and holiday coverage as needed when the clinic is open Potential floating between inpatient and outpatient departments
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in MRI Minimum two years of professional MRI experience Demonstrated competence with imaging equipment and protocols Excellent communication skills for patient/family education Adaptability for floating between various departments
Role Responsibilities:
Perform and verify MRI procedures according to providers' orders and facility policy Educate patients and families regarding imaging procedures Display professionalism and foster teamwork in all interactions Consistently produce high-quality images for provider interpretation Prepare and maintain accurate documentation Execute invasive/interventional procedures per policy when required
