1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a current ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska. Details Work in a diagnostic imaging department performing CT and radiographic examinations Full-spectrum patient population from newborn through geriatric Performs CT examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, as well as general radiographic procedures Schedule is 7 days on (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM), 7 days off On-call requirement with a 20-minute response time Must be willing and able to rotate shifts as needed Potential to work across multiple imaging modalities including Ultrasound, MRI, and Mammography as directed by management Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience Current ARRT(CT) certification required Current
BLS/BCLS
certification required State license required if applicable Must be able to perform venipuncture (or actively working toward competency) Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the full patient lifespan Flu vaccine required Additional Information Fingerprint card processing is required prior to the start date — candidates should schedule their fingerprint appointment promptly upon acceptance and mail cards within 2-3 days to avoid delays Responsibilities include CT and radiographic examinations, patient record maintenance, QC, quality assurance, sterile technique, contrast injector operation, and tele-radiology transmission Role includes lead technologist responsibilities such as PACS validation, coordinating staff orientation, managing daily workflow, and serving as a clinical resource for staff Must be comfortable working with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds Must be able to work effectively under stress Participates in department meetings, in-services, and disaster drills
