Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver cutting-edge diagnostic care as an advanced CT/PET technologist in a dynamic medical imaging environment. You'll play a pivotal role in providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring accurate results, and supporting patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven expertise in CT and CT/PET imaging techniques Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced credentials in Computed Tomography (CT) Prior experience with PET/CT preferred Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to operate complex imaging equipment efficiently Effective communication skills with healthcare team members and patients Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and PET scan procedures according to established protocols and physician orders Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters for diagnostic quality Monitor scans in real-time to ensure images meet diagnostic requirements Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly Uphold high standards of infection control, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance The role offers the opportunity to work at a renowned main campus facility on a contract basis, gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases in a supportive, professional setting.
