Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare role delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services as part of a dedicated patient care team. This contract position focuses on utilizing your expertise as a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality X-ray and radiology imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Proficient in X-ray and general radiology imaging techniques Ability to operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail for image quality and patient positioning Effective communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and privacy Accurately position patients and select appropriate exposure techniques Operate imaging equipment and adjust controls to obtain optimal images Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and assist with patient scheduling Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to ensure timely delivery of imaging results Communicate instructions and support patients throughout imaging procedures
