Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Experienced CT Technologists are needed for a dynamic imaging department serving diverse patient populations in a high-acuity hospital environment. This contract opportunity begins June 22 and offers a 36-hour, 12-hour mid-shift schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. You'll work alongside another CT technologist and an assistant, providing support to both inpatient and outpatient populations—including adults and occasionally pediatric outpatients or emergency department cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging studies, including trauma, biopsies, drainage, and angiograms Strongly preferred: Experience with stroke perfusion procedures Manage and care for an average of 4 patients per hour, with a typical daily volume near 40 scans Float as needed within the main radiology department, adapting workflow between inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with medical staff to provide exceptional patient-centered care Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR and operate GE CT equipment Attend mandatory hospital orientation and shadow experienced technologists during initial shifts Follow holiday and weekend rotation policies, volunteering for on-call as desired
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of recent CT tech experience; 2 years preferred for those new to travel roles ARRT certification and BLS required; ARRT-CT credential required, state license preferred Proficiency in CT-guided interventions, trauma imaging, and angiographic techniques Ability to function effectively in a
