Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare imaging career by joining a dynamic hospital setting dedicated to high-quality patient care and state-of-the-art technology. This role involves working with a wide range of inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasionally pediatric patients in emergency or outpatient settings. You'll contribute to a facility recognized as a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center, utilizing all GE CT technology and Cerner EMR systems.
Schedule & Hours:
Department shifts with varying schedules Weekend rotation typically once a month (subject to departmental needs) Holiday shifts as per department policy (one major and one minor seasonal holiday) On-call opportunities are voluntary
Desired Qualifications:
Valid ARRT registration is required ARRT-CT credential necessary for CT Tech; state licensure preferred BLS certification required Strong experience in CT imaging, including biopsy drainage, trauma, and angiogram procedures Stroke perfusion experience is strongly preferred Capacity to float throughout the main Radiology department and adapt to different areas as needed Familiarity with Cerner EMR and all GE CT equipment is advantageous Travelers welcomed, including first-time travelers with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience or those with at least 1 year of robust experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-volume CT and PET/CT diagnostic imaging, averaging 4 patients per hour Accurately carry out procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases Participate in a brief hospital orientation and targeted departmental onboarding Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining excellent patient care Demonstrate adaptability by floating between areas within the Radiology department This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a respected, high-capacity environment with advanced imaging protocols and technology.
