In this vital role, you will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of breast health issues. Your expertise will help provide accurate, timely results that are essential for patient care. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing women's health through precise imaging techniques. Responsibilities Prepare patients for mammography procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam Operate state-of-the-art mammography equipment to capture clear and diagnostic-quality images Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation of images Document all procedures accurately in patient records, including technical details and observations Assist with additional medical imaging procedures such as DEXA scans Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and maintain certification requirements for Level I and Level II trauma center standards Skills Extensive knowledge of mammography techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment including DEXA scan Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently while maintaining efficiency during high-volume procedures Excellent communication skills and provide compassionate patient care Join our team where your expertise makes a difference!
