Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a key healthcare role where your expertise in MRI technology makes a difference for patients and care teams. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services, working closely with both medical professionals and patients to ensure precise, compassionate care.
What You'll Do:
Operate MRI equipment to capture clear, diagnostic images in accordance with physician requests Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, explaining processes and easing any concerns Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning for safety and accuracy Adhere to safety standards, including patient screening for contraindications Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure quality images and timely reporting Accurately document patient information and imaging details within required records systems Stay current with MRI technology advancements and best practice protocols
What We're Looking For:
Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program Current and valid registration (ARRT - MR preferred) Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel comfortable and informed Familiarity with imaging protocols, PACS, and relevant regulatory requirements Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative clinical team Why Consider This Role?
