Job Description
Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A skilled radiologic technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging services in a large healthcare setting with a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity involves working closely with a team of professionals in a busy, well-equipped radiology department.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour night shifts (Friday-Sunday, 6:30 pm-7:00 am) 36 hours per weekQualifications:
Current ARRT certification required BLS certification required Fluoroscopy and surgery imaging experience is mandatory Experience with portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays O-arm experience preferred; DEXA a plus, but not required Minimum of one year of strong, relevant experience (two years for first-time travelers) Comfortable caring for adult inpatients and outpatients, with occasional pediatric casesKey Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays Adapt to various areas within the main radiology department as needed, providing coverage throughout the hospital Work efficiently with Cerner EMR and multiple imaging platforms (GE, Siemens, Konica, Carestream) Deliver imaging services for approximately four patients per hour, with dedicated 1:1 patient ratios in certain settings Participate in hospital orientation and training to ensure smooth integration into workflows Fulfill weekend and holiday rotation requirements as outlined by department policyWhat's Offered:
