Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain advanced CT and PET/CT imaging equipment with precision Accurately position patients and ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort Collaborate closely with physicians and clinicians to ensure all imaging studies are completed according to protocol Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging data according to healthcare standards Monitor equipment for proper functionality and promptly report any technical issues or required maintenance Stay updated with the latest imaging protocols, techniques, and safety procedures Adhere strictly to all institutional and regulatory requirements regarding imaging and radiation safety
Required Qualifications:
Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist; PET/CT experience required ARRT (CT) or NMTCB certification strongly preferred Documented experience performing both CT and PET/CT studies in a clinical or hospital environment Comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Ability to communicate well with patients and healthcare team members Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and high clinical standards
